Even as he spoke the eighth smoke column made an appearance, but not a dark gray, brownish one like the others, this one was jet black with angry streamers of red and orange shooting through it.
 

Reminiscing, the one year on active duty was a piece of cake. As the army expression went, "could do it standing on my hands."
